Tamer Saleh, is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Wuhan University, a member of IEEE, a winner of the Qinling Future Scholar Award of the Global Young Elite Ability Forum, and a winner of the Outstanding International Student Award of Wuhan University. He received his Ph.D. from the State Key Laboratory of Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing Information Engineering, Wuhan University in June 2024. He received his bachelor's degree (surveying engineering) and master's degree (photogrammetry and remote sensing) from Benha University in 2012 and 2018, respectively. From September 2012 to August 2018, he served as an assistant lecturer in the Department of Surveying and Mapping Engineering, Shubra College of Engineering, Benha University, Cairo, Egypt. He has published many papers in authoritative international journals and related international conferences such as National Science Review (NSR), ISPRS Journal of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (P&RS), IEEE Trans. on Geoscience and Remote Sensing (TGRS), International Journal of Applied Earth Observation and Geoinformation (JAG), and IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters (GRSL), and served as a reviewer for many domestic and foreign journals. Won the Best Paper Award at the SARcon 2023 Symposium during the ISPRS Geospatial Week 2023 International Conference and received a travel grant award from ISPRS TIF and AGSI North Africa for attending the same event in Cairo. His main research interests are understanding remote sensing images, interpreting Earth observation images, mathematical modeling of aerial and satellite images, photogrammetry, computer vision, and the application of deep learning algorithms in remote sensing imaging.
