ZAN HUANG
Dr. Zan Huang is a Ph.D. supervisor and full Professor of College of Life Sciences, Wuhan University. He received his Ph.D. degree in Molecular Biology Program of Loyola University Chicago and continued his postdoctoral training in Chicago University and Northwestern University from 2006 to 2010. Dr. Huang has published more than 60 papers on high impact factor journals including Host Cell Microbe, Journal of Clinic Investigation, Leukemia, Hepatology etc. He was selected as an awardee for Program for New Century Excellent Talents in University (NCET 2012) of Ministry of Education of China and Chutian Scholar of Hubei Province (2011). He is an Executive Director of Asia-Pacific Association of Medicine and Bio-Immunology and a member of American Society of Hematology, Chinese Society for Cell Biology and Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences. His lab focuses on megakaryopoiesis and polyploidization, leukemogenesis, and pathogenesis of NAFLD and HCC and is dedicated to reveal molecular mechanisms underlying related pathophysiological processes, such as signal transduction, transcriptional regulation, epigenetics, innate immunity, and metabolism of glucose and lipid.
