    The ancient Chinese thought of managing rivers is a model of ancient Chinese naive materialism applied to practice. The ancient Chinese thought of river management advocated "doing the best of people, not tempting days", and attaching importance to the role of the main body on the basis of letting it go; proposing to grasp the river dynamically, coordinate the transportation of the Yellow River and the Huaihe River, and comprehensively plan; attach importance to the theory of river management and river management Practice is unique in the history of Chinese thought and science and technology.

    This article is compiled on the basis of my master's thesis. As a theoretical summary of social practice, the ancient Chinese thought of river governance has a unique position in the history of human thought.
