Biography
Prof. Zhejun Li received her B. Eng. degree from School of Chemical Engineering and Technology in Tianjin University in 2014. She received her Ph. D. degree from the Department of Mechanical and Automation Engineering in the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) in 2019. From 2020 to 2022, she was a postdoctoral fellow in CUHK focusing on electrochemical energy storage, and was invited to give a talk on 10th Global Young Scientists Summit in 2022, Singapore. She is currently a Professor in School of Physics and Technology at Wuhan University.
Her research interest centers on developing fundamental understandings and material design principles for clean energy storage and converstion. In particular, her research group focuses on electrolyte and membrane design for low-cost and long-life aqueous redox flow batteries, high energy density metal-sulfur batteries, high-safety lithium-ion batteries, and mechanistic understanding of interfacial phenomena governing electrochemical energy storage processes.
