My research focuses on theoretical and applied computational geodynamics. Details are followed as below.

·        Surface/Subsurface deformation and its mechanisms

·        Numerical modeling on fluid flow-stress/strain-temperature coupled processes

·        Crustal/lithospheric stress and strain evolutions during earthquake cycles

·        Rheology and crustal/lithospheric geodynamic processes

·        Numerical modeling on fault interactions, and earthquake triggering

·        Numerical modeling on seismicity in a faut system; synthetic seismic catalogs

·        Earthquakes and subduction processes

·        Numerical modeling on geological evolution of salt structures

·        Stresses, pore pressures and fluid flow around salt structures

·        Geomechanics, rock and soil mechanics, and wellbore stability near salt bodies

·        Numerical modeling on metallogenic geodynamics
