Meng Huang received the BEng and MEng degrees from the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan, China, in 2006 and 2008, respectively, and the PhD degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong, China, 2013. He is currently a Professor of the School of Electrical Engineering and Automation, Wuhan University, Wuhan, China. 

His research interests lies in the safe operation and control of grid-connected systems. He received the Best Paper Award of the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics in 2016, and the Excellent Paper Award of CSEE Journal of Power and Energy System in 2020. He serves as Editor of International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications, has served as Guest Editor of IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics of Circuits and Systems, Guest Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Applications and IEEE Journal of Emerging and Selected Topics of Power Electronics.
