Dr. Xiaoze Liu, PhD Advisor, current research focuses on the nanophotonics with low-dimensional semiconductors. Specifically we are interested in the exciton physics with low dimensional semiconductors, quantum optics and photonic applications based on the strong light-matter coupling in these semiconductors. The studied semiconductors include transition metal dichalcogenides, perovskites, magnetic materials and emerging low-dimensional materials. Research works have been published in scientific journals, including first-/corresponding authored papers in Nature Materials, Nature Photonics, Phys. Rev. Lett., Light Sci. Appl., PNAS, ACS Nano, Nano Lett., etc. Our research is supported by NSFC and other national/provincial grants.
