You Li is a Professor at the State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying, Mapping and Remote Sensing (LIESMARS), Wuhan University, China. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Hubei Luojia Laboratory. He received Ph.D. degrees from Wuhan University and the University of Calgary in 2015 and 2016, respectively, and a BEng degree from China University of Geoscience (Beijing) in 2009. His research focuses on positioning and motion-tracking techniques and applications. He has co-published over 90 academic papers and has over 20 patents pending. He serves as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Sensors Journal, a committee member at the International Association of Geodesy (IAG) unmanned navigation system session, China Society of Surveying and Mapping location services session, and the secretary at the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) mobile mapping session, and co-chairs of international conferences such as IROS and IPIN. Dr. You Li’s research outcome has been integrated into mainstream consumer electronic products and has been the championship of international indoor positioning competitions for multiple times, the best paper award of four international conferences, the “Digital China” top 10 exhibition, and the first prize for scientific and technological progress in surveying and mapping in China.
