  • Abstract:

The core issue of the debate on Engels' two kinds of production is people. The person in Engels' "two productions" refers not only to natural persons, but also to collective persons as "units" and persons as the personality of social organizations. The true meaning of the "two productions" mentioned by Engels refers to the production of material materials and the production of people who are the main body of material material production. Marx's historical materialism is a theory about material materials and their subject production. There is no opposition between Engels and Marx.
  • Note:

Nearly 20 years ago, I put forward the starting point of Marx’s theory as the main body of material production as the basic unit of society. He has failed his doctoral dissertation several times and was even sent to a psychiatric hospital. However, my research on Capital has strengthened me. the opinion of. Only by linking the man in Marx's theory with the main body of production can we clarify many controversial issues and avoid the contradictory viewpoints of Engels and Marx.
