Profile
Dr. Yang is a Professor in the Institute of Technological Sciences, Wuhan University. He obtained his B.S. degree from Jinan University in 2012 and Ph.D. from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2018, followed by postdoctoral research at Leibniz Institute for New Materials and Nanyang Technological University. In 2022, he became a faculty in Wuhan University.
His research focuses on scalable batteries and hydrogel ionotronics. He has published over 40 publications in prestigious peer-reviewed journals such as Advanced Materials and Angewandte Chemie International Edition, with more than 10000 citations and an h-index of 46. As a key inventor, he has authorized five Chinese patents and won the second prize of Guangdong Natural Science Award in 2022 (second-ranked).
Dr. Yang serves on the early career advisory and editorial boards of journals such as eScience, Gels, Energy Environmental Materials, and Journal of Electrochemistry, among others. He is also a frequent reviewer for over ten high-impact journals, including Science, Joule, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, and Angewandte Chemie International Edition.
