    Profile

    Tao Li holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Anthropological Archaeology (University of Pittsburgh, 2016) and a Doctor of Science in Archaeometry (University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, 2010). Between September 2016 and February 2019, he worked as a team member of the Eurasia3angle Project at the Max Planck Institute for the Science of Human History (Jena, Germany). Starting in June 2023, he is a Full Professor at the Department of Archaeology at Wuhan University (Hubei Province, China). Focusing on the middle Yangtze River valley, his research interests include craft production, household archaeology, and early complex societies.
