Dedicated to addressing the challenges of national strategic projects, including hydraulic and hydropower engineering and deep underground engineering, research focuses on Hydraulic Geomechanics and its practical applications. By exploring frontier scientific questions, his work aims to serve national infrastructure development. His primary research directions include:
(1) Seepage and failure mechanisms in geomaterials and their multiphysics coupling effects
(2) Physics-informed data-driven methods for geotechnical stability assessment and prediction, integrating advanced data science with classical geomechanics principles
(3) Advanced theories in computational mechanics, with an emphasis on high-fidelity and high-performance numerical simulation for multi-field coupled systems
