    Liquid Biopsy

    Dr. Zhao’s research interests center on the development and clinical translation of liquid biopsy technologies, particularly tumor-derived extracellular vesicles (EVs), to enable noninvasive cancer detection and monitoring. By integrating nanotechnology, molecular profiling, and bioinformatics, his work aims to uncover dynamic biomarkers that reflect tumor progression and treatment response. Ultimately, his goal is to bridge laboratory discoveries with clinical application, advancing precision oncology and improving outcomes for patients with solid tumors.
