Dr. Zhao is an Assistant Professor and Attending Physician at Renmin Hospital of Wuhan Univesity. He had MD and PhD in Wuhan University, and completed his postdoctoral training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). His research focuses on tumor biomarkers and liquid biopsies, primarily investigating tumor biomarkers and the tumor microenvironment. Dr. Zhao has dedicated himself to studying the roles of tumor biomarkers and the tumor microenvironment in tumor development and progression, and to translational research on liquid biopsies for early cancer detection and therapeutic monitoring. Dr. Zhao has led a Youth Project of the Hubei Provincial Natural Science Foundation and a research project funded by central universities. Additionally, He has participated in two General Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (ranking 2nd and 6th respectively) and a key research and development project of Hubei Province (ranking 2nd). In the past three years, He has published seven SCI papers as the first author or corresponding author. Dr. Zhao holds various professional roles, including member of the Youth Committee of the Tumor Nutrition Branch of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, Secretary-General and Standing Committee Member of the Health Education Expert Committee of the Hubei Clinical Oncology Society, member of the Gynecologic Oncology Committee of the Hubei Medical Immunology Society, member of the Youth Expert Committee of the Hubei Clinical Oncology Society, member of the Breast Cancer Committee of the Hubei Clinical Oncology Society, and youth member of the Lung Cancer Committee of the Hubei Clinical Oncology Society. Dr. Zhao serves as a guest editor for the SCI journal Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology, and as a reviewer for several SCI journals including Computers in Biology and Medicine, Oncology Letters, Medical Teacher, Oxidative Medicine and Cellular Longevity, Experimental and Therapeutic Medicine, Central European Journal of Immunology, and Exploration of Medicine.
