    本文首先对整个数字电视行业进行剖析,然后介绍了数字电视行业使用的技术,重点对应用广泛的MPEG-2信源编码技术标准和DVB电视广播标准进行了详细探究。以此为基础,从硬件和软件架构两个方面对所需要的模块分析。选择使用嵌入式Linux系统来设计一个可以进行功能扩展的多功能综合型STB终端。,在设计好的以BCM7405芯片为核心的硬件上进行软件系统设计,引用了中间件Enimga2技术,Enigma2使用C++语言进行编写构建了一个紧缩的核心,内部逻辑处理和上层应用则使用Python语言实现,对于系统功能扩展实现更加容易。同时中间件的引入使得上层应用程序和底层驱动、操作系统相互隔离开来,为后期维护和不同设备的系统移植提供了便利。该设计方案已经可以实现卫星、有线、地面数字电视信号的接入和节目录制、本地文件播放的功能,以及通过有线、无线网络接口接入互联网获得实时信息服务,基本解决了目前的需求。
