    （一）通过地理信息服务、地理本体和Web服务语义化的多角度研究，分析了以面向服务架构为基础的地理信息服务体系结构，提出了以构建地理服务本体为核心的地理信息服务平台的语义解决方案。
    （二）结合现有地理信息服务框架的国内外标准，从服务语义角度提出地理信息服务平台构建过程中所需考虑的服务语义问题，结合具体实践需求案例提出了一个区域级地理信息服务平台下的地理信息服务分类方案。
    （三）针对地理信息服务平台中的基于服务语义的服务匹配和服务发现问题，提出了以地理服务本体为基础，符合地理服务特性的一系列服务语义相关度定义。使用案例证明了基于地理服务语义相关度算法可以较有效的解决地理信息服务平台中服务发现问题。
    （四）针对地理信息服务平台中服务组合问题，借助地理服务本体表达的服务语义，给出了地理信息服务链在实现过程中地理信息服务组合的具体解决方案，并在具体实践中进行了初步应用。
